I recently stayed at Hotel Noctuel in Saint-Gervais-la-Foret for a couple of nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is excellent, especially for those looking for a stopover, and there are great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the shower was fantastic. The free onsite parking provided a sense of security, which was important for me as a solo traveler. it was a great base for exploring the Loire Valley.

As older travelers, we really appreciated the adjoining rooms which made traveling with our family much easier. the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, providing us with everything we needed for an overnight stop. the breakfast offered was simple but good, and at a great value of €5.50 each. the location of the hotel was also ideal for visiting the beautiful chateaux de la Loire and exploring Blois. It also served as a convenient stopover between our journey to and from the South of France.
